Fuel Pump Fuel Upgrades

SX Performance Fuel Pump This coast guard approved E.F.I. fuel pump not only provides safety and corrosion protection for the years to come, but also delivers consistent flow up to 90 psi. With the mounting brackets sold separately, the 18201 pump can support fuel injection applications up to 1000 horse power with a single pump and is well suited for normally carbureted and blow through carbureted systems as well. Since this pump is designed for high power fuel injection applications, carbureted systems are a breeze. It gives you the ability to supply fuel no matter what "g" forces, dirty filters, or how much boost pressure your application may encounter. This pump helps protect itself in the worse of conditions. The "In-line" or "wet motor" design provides cooling protection as well as tight barrier from all of the harsh elements of racing, for the motor and all of the other internal components. Each SX Performance fuel pump is acceptance tested, not only for safety and leakage, but also for proper performance and efficiency. The 18201 is flow tested deliver a minimum of 80 gallons per hour at 45 PSI, while operating at 12.0 volts. The SX Performance 18201 pump is also coast guard approved. This can only be accomplished by an independent lab setting fire under the pump a minimum of 2-1/2 minutes, bringing the total outside surface temperature to over 1300° F. After exposure to this harsh condition, the fuel pump must not leak!
